This one's an eye-opener. Even though I'm not a chip architect :) I found it really interesting and very informative. It was linked at The Inquirer among other sites. The streaming video is about an hour and a half, but IMHO, its worth it. The video is archived at the Stanford University Computer Systems Laboratory Colloquim (http://www.stanford.edu/class/ee380/) site. The guy's credentials are mentioned as well.
