OK, so I'm trying to make a copy of one of my anime DVDs using Gordian Knot 0.28.7.

I've ripped the vobs, put them through the DVD2AVI, used the bitrate screen. done the whole d2vavi file thing and I'm ready to send it through the encoder.

I choose the sound file I want it to use and tell it to begin encoding. Now, when I used to use Gordian Knot 0.25 it picked up and ran just fine. But now when I hit Start Encoding it gets through the transcoding and then it give me the error

Haveing tried to find some FAQ that explains that, I'm still at a loss. Can someone explain what this means and how I can fix it?

Hello, Shaloo, welcome to Doom9's forum.

It appears to me that you've got a mismatch between the version of DVD2AVI you are using and the mpeg2dec.dll you are using.

The latest release of GK is 0.27.8.2, which includes DVD2AVIdg and its matching mpeg2dec3.dll. Probably, the easiest solution is to install this latest version.
