I really could use help with my owned copy of Finding Nemo. Today I wanted to backup my Finding Nemo copy as I was planning on taking it to my nephews house and letting him watch it. As I was make a .iso I found out that the file is nearly like 8gb large. And when I go properties on the disc is reads 7.6... How can I burn this so that it will fit perfectly on a DVD+R with the special features and whatnot. Help is really needed.

Thanks.

For now, you cannot burn the entire contents of a dual layer DVD like Finding Nemo straight to a DVDR. DVDR are currently only single layer.

You have a variety of options for backing up Finding Nemo, but as a starting point I recommend you check out one of the one-click solutions. They transcode the contents of the DVD to make it fit on a single layer DVDR, though sometimes they degrade quality if you try to compress things too much.

DVDShrink is a good choice to cut your teeth on, and it's free so it won't cost you anything but your time to try it. For Finding Nemo, you might want to consider just backing up the movie (using re-author mode) rather than backing up the entire disk.

Especially as the movie will fit on one disc without compression

DVD Shrink worked fine. Sucks that I wasted 1 disc lol.

Just to let you know, ALL Disney films are of similar size and the problems you had with nemo are the same for most of these types of films.
