Using DVDShrink 3.1.6 trying to back up E.R. Season 1 (Region 2) and after 2% analysis it says:
DVDShrink encountered an error and cannot continue
Copy Protection Error
The media in the drive may have changed.
Any ideas?

Ok just had a thought.
I'm trying ripping with DVD Decryptor first (file mode) and will open it using DVDShrink... fingers crossed...

same happened to me with In The Bedroom R1, but now the minimum compression level is still too high for just a movie only... anyone have any luck with this one?

diogo6-
If what you're saying is that the automatic compression setting or the max compression leaves you with a DVD size too big, try shutting down Shrink and either deleteing all the files in your analysis directory or temporarily moving them to a different location and then re-open your disc or file set and see if it then works. If it does, then notify DVDShrink, because this is what I think is a bug that is difficult to reproduce. The directory is /Documents and Settings/all users/application data/dvdshrink - Please advise of your results if you try this.
Good Luck!

Hi theboywonderuk,
Please try our product DVD Region-Free 3.60 at http://www.dvdidle.com/download/DVDRegionFree36.exe to see the result.
We just added a new feature to remove the "Copy protection error" message of DVD Shrink when the disc is dirty or scratched, so that you can still use DVD Shrink to rip DVD from DVD drive directly.
If you need help, please contact with me at fengtao@dvdidle.com
Best Regards,
Fengtao
