Hi there.

I have dumped into some problems.
Let's see..
The first thing is, if i have multiple audio streams, how do i remove
the unwanted audio streams with IfoEdit? I most of the times uses DvdShrink to compress the movie and so on. Here is where the problems gets in. if i remove the 2-channel audio, to make space for the 6-channel audio, how do i make the movie start with the 6-channel, instead of 2-channel (which is default in some movies)?
I COULD use the menu´s and select the 6-channel audio there, and therby go around the problem. But, isn't there a easier way (IfoEdit or something)??

Problem Nummer 2)

How do i strip the bonusmaterial?
In some movies you got 4 trailers for other movies.
How do i strip that?
I Could do it in DvdShrink (by just select still pictures)
but again, there must be another way?

Problem Nummer 3)

Playback problems with PowerDVD 4.0 XP.
Some discs (that i have used dvdshrink to backup)
just won´t work. Powerdvd just says
"The DVD disc might have been damaged so as to inhibit playback operation. Please clean the surface of the disc if possible. If it has been scratched, it might not be readable."
(Note: this is from iso, mounted with deamon-tools)

It´s only on my computer i get that problem.
On a stand-alone player, it will work fine?
Any ideas, anyone?

Programs used:
Powerdvd 4.0 XP
Deamon-tools 3.41
DVDShrink 3.0 Beta 5
IfoEdit 0.96

Hardware used:
Nec 1300A DVD-Recorder (Flashed)

Well, that´s all for now i guess.

hi KlingKlang,

problem 1:
to fix audio after stripping (using ifoedit), i recommend you use 2cools cheat sheets as a guide. in particular this guide Correcting Menu Language Buttons After Stripping Unwanted Audio(s) (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46909) should solve your audio problems.
and heres the link to all of the guides
«-«-« 2COOL's Cheat Sheets & Guides List »-»-» (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43142)

problem 2:
you can also find in the ifo/vob editors a great tool by shh called titleset blanker that will help you to remove those unwanted extras. please see this thread for details
TitleSetBlanker (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=69448)

problem 3:
sorry but i have no idea what could be causing that behaviour (i use windvd myself and have never seen that error). it might be that when you have stripped things in ifoedit/dvdshrink you have not corrected the vts sectors in ifoedit prior to creating the image.

hope that helps

Could you not also just use the ReAuthor feature in DVD Shrink 3.0b5?
I don't have any problems clearing unwanted audio streams and/or bonus material using that method.
