hi
if a movie that is coded in divx or xvid and the framerate is 23.976, can i set it to pal in nero or should i set it to ntsc. i want to make vcd. if the source framerate is pal 25 everything works out fine. not so with ntsc.:(

Re-encode it and set it to the framerate you want..

You can use TMPGEnc to re-encode to a PAL mpeg just by using the provided PAL template. The PAL template will take care of all the settings for you.

thanks for your help.
i used tmgpenc. transformed avi - 23.976 to pal, perfect. when transforming mpg - 29.970 to pal, audio became desynchronised. i could not find any audiosynchsettings in tmgpenc. well. it's a start.
