Hi!

hab a Problem with xvid:

when I play a file with mplay, it plays, but produce hundreds of outputs:

vop not coded
vop not coded
...

and the movie is not playing as smooth at it should (cant explain it better), but sync

in BSPlayer, the movies is flicking some frames for- and backward all the time, and WMP seems to play it normal (but who want that ;) )

using version 1.0, but had the same probs with the RCs
using the setings from the doom9 xvid 1.0 tutorial, and tried ogm and avi

NVOP (vop not coded) is an empty frame. Which is a cause of packed bitstream which you used - nothing to worry about, that is _desired_. Upgrade your mplayer to recent CVS - libavcodec has the packed bitstream issue fixed already, so you're simply using outdated software (if you want a closer description, look for "jerky playback" and "ffdshow").
