When running gordianknot, when i try to open a d2v file i get the a pop stating... "Before you can use this you have to put MPEG2DEC3.Dll into your avisynth plugin directory.

With that said - I have installed the Gordian Knot rip pack..and it has this file in the GK folder. Also i was unable to locate Avisynth/Plugin folder in the Goridan Knot directoy, so i went and installed avisynth 2.5 and copyed the file into the plugin folder there.

However after doing this - I still retain the bothersome popup. Does anyone know of any resolutions I can take to correct this problem properly so that I may be able to open up my d2v's ?

Simply Install GK rip pack and avisynth as usual without any copying etc. With that said - I have installed the Gordian Knot rip pack..and it has this file in the GK folder. Also i was unable to locate Avisynth/Plugin folder in the Goridan Knot directoy, so i went and installed avisynth 2.5 and copyed the file into the plugin folder there.
With avisynth installer installed you don't need to find plugins folder.
The file "mpeg2dec3.dll"should be residing on root folder of GK. So it should be in same folder as the "GordianKnot.exe" folder.

Hope that helps...

I dont know why i keep getitng this message, but its becoming very bothersome.

In the Options tab there's an item Use alternative mpeg2dec.dll in scripts. Click that. Below that, type: mpeg2dec3.dll

Have you tried it?

Regards.
