Use AutoGK target quality mode.

Since there is not much point in having single pass CBR encoding (quality-wise) this feature is not available in both Gk/AutoGK.

And what the reason to use "Target quality" encoding,
if you don't know wich result you'll get?

Hi-
And what the reason to use "Target quality" encoding,...
It's very useful to give you even quality, if you don't care about the final file size. This is good for people that keep the movies on the hard drive, or maybe have a dedicated computer serving to the the TV. It's also useful if you intend to burn to DVD, and not to CD.
As len0x stated, 1 pass CBR encoding gives you an inferior movie. To insure good quality for a given file size (like for 1 or 2 CDs), 2 pass encoding is necessary (at the moment anyway).
If you want to do 1 pass encoding for a certain file size, you'll have to encode directly in VDubMod.
