Here are some of the things in my wish list, as ‘Advanced’ options:

1. Batch processing (I guess it’s coming)
2. Facility to select source range
3. Facility to pause encoding, shut down and pick up later (like those download managers)
4. Facility to choose to cut into custom-sized chunks the custom-size or custom-quality end-file, subs and all
5. Facility for input of audio track in specified format for just interleaving (maybe vbr mp3 could be the default) – this will be handy if, after doing a 1-CD job, I decide to do a 2-CD one for some reason.
6. Facility for input of a CompStat file
7. Visual Facility for positioning of external subs (I’d like my subs in the lower black bar for widescreen movies during full-screen play in WMP or PDVD)
8. Visual facility for AR manipulations
9. Facility for direct use of the first-pass info to launch the second-pass independently

I know that implementation of many of these will make AGK approach GK in complexity, but while in GK one has to get involved in the process quite a lot (a heady thing for many), the user of AGK will have the choice of never having to go into the advanced options screen al all (like now) and still have an amazingly good end-product.

This AAGK (Advanced AGK) will mean the end of GK as we know it, and that will be bad.

Regards.
