Hi,
I'm sure this has been covered before, but here goes..
Is the ideal output width resolution 640x or 720x? Consider that I want to archive my DVDs for eventual playback not just on my pc but on my future HDTV (that maybe I'll get this year :-). Will you see higher resolution with 720x or does NTSC DVD format limit it to 640x in the real world.
Are there any other high quality standards that those wanting higher quality files follow? I do not want to waste HD space, but I am not concerned with squeezing a movie on a CDR, ever. I do use the .ac3 file instead of going to .mp3.
