alrighty... well... i've been looking at yoper...... is there a ed2k or bittorrent distro for it?.... that would help alot!..... anyways... i also wanted to know if theres a way i can partition off a part of my drive.... and normally have it boot to windows.... but alternately have it boot to linux with like a floppy or a keystroke..... that would be perfect....

i'm not sure about edonkey but there is an overnet client (command line) and a gui for it as well.
there is also a port for bittorent...
run a google search on them, you'll come up with useful stuff.
dual booting windows & linux is not only possible, but fairly easy as well. You will need a boot loader such as 'Lilo' or 'Grub'. I think all gnu/linux distros come with either one or both of them...
there is plenty of documentation about it, i suppose yoper should mention partioning and dual booting in some 'installation-howto' or something like that...
