matroskasplitter_20040111-2
bsplayer 1.00 build 805

crash... (all other players play - wmp9, mp2, mpc)

{EDIT}
Well l3codec.ax is guilty here, don't know why...
wmp9 plays ok but audio is bad - mp2 plays ok with l3codec.ax - mpc plays ok only with internal mp3 decoder... for now I swithed to ffdshow audio (mp3lib) but this isn't the best solution...

faultlog.txt:
MPLAYERC caused a divide error in module L3CODECX.AX at 016f:1c401eec
BSPLAY caused a divide error in module L3CODECX.AX at 016f:1c401eec

I have the original L3Codecx.ax that comes with Win XP installation (Fraunhofer's MPEG Layer-3 Audio Decoder v1.9.0.311) and it has not making me any craches etc with MPC latest or WMP9 with MatrixMixer (or matroskasplitter_20040111-2) installed as MP3 audio splitter / decoder...

Must be a weird combination of some else codec in your system (many times the system's faultlog only shows the last module which could be loaded before calling faultrep.dll, but still the quilty causer can be something just before it...)

Check if you have the original Fraubhofer L3CodecX, (A) & (M) with correct (year 2000) versions...?

Just a suggestion :)

For now I think it's bug in BSPlayer...
I have the same l3codecx.ax...

Yep - BSPlayer v1.00 build 805 is still considered as a beta release (/edit = RC 1) and it's not yet stable release with all mpeg(3) audio decoders / splitters (read that one from some thread at hydrogen forums - just did not find the link there anymore)...

I still use the old v0.9x until the final v1 is released (soon i suppose)!
