this only happens to me on Disks from Columbia Tristar and has forced me to mainly backup movie only on those disks. What happens is all Columbia Tristar disks have a disclaimer on them concerning their commentart tracks. When it his this disclaimer the disk will just continually cycle on this disclaimer and basically get hung up. I find hitting menu on this disclaimer will sometime allow the disk to continue. Also hitting Stop and then play will play the disks. I've tried my backups on about 10 different DVD Players and all do the same thing. This occurs whether I use DVD Shrink or Instant copy. Or in the case the disk is small enough it even happens if I dvd Decrypt it and burn.
Has anyone else encountered this and have a solution ? I've tried removing the disclaimer screen but this sometimes causes more problems....

I've only had this happen if I remove the French subtitles.
That messaging uses the subtitles to display, and it displays English first, then French.
So I guess if you remove the French subtitles, it causes a problem. Try not removing them and see if your problems go away.

Either way it seems like a bug in DVD Shrink.
Scarpad, can you contact me directly about this?

I'll need your help to find the bug.

Shrink I can contact you but let me tell you every software I've used (and I think I've used them all) does this same exact thing on these disks.

Do you have "remove P-UOP" option enabled in your decrypting software? I have heard that their removal can cause strange navigation problems with some discs, although I have never figured out what these problems are, or how they could occur.

I'll check I might have that enabled, but I wonder what effect disabling would have on other disk? I think just leaving all the subtitles will fix the problem
