Yes, the player does look nice.

I don't understand the Czech language but the pictures speak a thousand words....

However, I'm surprised it can work at all. There's hardly anything inside the box!

Can you still resize the aspect ratio of the played back image like you can with other Sigma chip based players?

According to Sigma's website there are 2no SDK circuit boards available. As you can see, one of them incorporates an DVI output connector: -
