I would like to try and capture video with rv10. I have recently done some testing with huffy/avi toRV10 and the results were very impressive.
Just wondering if there is a cap utility with GUI to do this.
Also a couple of questions on RealAnime/Batch.

When I convert to RV10 from avi RealAnime does an analysis pass then encodes where as RealBatch skips analaysis and begins encode.
Should I spend the extra time and use RealAnime?

When I choose he-acc for audio I get no playback-player looks for a codec at realnetworks.com then says none avail.

When I choose acc for audio I get no playback-player looks for a codec at realnetworks.com then says none avail.

So I installed Yatochi's decod pac and It was able to utilize RV10/acc combo but no rv10/he-acc.

Why isn't RV10 player enough on it's on to decod the rv10/he-acc or rv10/acc combo. Anyway to do a RV10/mp3 combo?

I am looking for the best possible video/audio codec combo to encode some home movies and have my freinds and family only have to use RV10 without installing codec pacs for playback.

Thanks in advance, your help will be mutch appreciated.

realbatch is a mod of realanime : i add the possibility to disable two-passes encoding...

to play realvideo 10 with aac or he-aac sound you must have coraac installed => see the recommending tools/codecs in the thread about realanime or realbatch

i use one-pass encoding + noise filter at low for encoding my vid cap (made in mpeg2 with a tv card) : it gaves me good result in realtime encoding
2pass encoding took too much time for a result a little better...

but for encoding good quality source (like dvd or avi) you can choose to use 2pass-encoding it's up to you...that's why you have the option in the settings panel ;-)
