Hi all, I have notice a strange behaviour using autogk external subtitles function (with vobsub).
I started to rip the animate Slayers (Lina Inverse) DVDs. There is 5 episodes on each DVD. Each episode contains 5 chapters :
- 1st, introduction credits.
- 2nd and 3rd, episode.
- 4th, closing credits.
- 5th next episode resume.
I choose to rip only the 2nd and 3rd chapters of each episode to save some bitrate. As I also love original version (japanese) and I don't want to 'subrip' subtitles I choose autogk external subtitles option.
Everything went fine (I thought)... In fact the subtitles were ripped as if the firt chapter were still present, thus introducing in my case a 1m30s delay between the start of the episode and the moment the first subtitle appears.
I however found a way to repair the delay by using vodsub cutter and cutting the first 1m30s of each subtitle file.
Even it works, it is not really handy and error prone. So is it a bug, or have I misconfigured something ?
Extract from my DVD Decrypter config :
IFO Mode,
File splitting : Auto
File names include PGC and angle number : On
Remove RC and REC protection : On
Match M2V timecode : On
Create additionnal file Stream Information : On
everything else Off.
Thanks.
