Audio subtitles???

I just downloaded a movie that has someone saying the lines in a different language along with the regular movie in english as well. Basically, it's like watching a movie in english while leaving your stereo on in the background with another language. Normally I would just redownload the movie, but it took a long time to get this one and I don't know if there are other copies.

Is there some way for me to take a look at the sound in the .avi and perhaps rip out the audio stream that has the audio subtitles??
Or is it just one sound wave with no possibility of taking out certain things?

Movies from LEGAL sources usually do not exhibit these kind of problems. Read the rules before you post your next post (not sure if you will be allowed to).
