why would anyone choose this option? Advantages?

Moved to the GKnot forum, as 1) it has nothing to do with DivX encoding, and 2) its one of the options of Gknot.
Q: Why?
A: Two audio tracks. Multiple languages, commentary, or any other reason you would imaging having multiple soundtracks.
Selecting "2x vbr-mp3" in the AVI Overhead of the bitrate calculator will add sufficient overhead for two vbr-mp3 soundtracks. You will still need to provide inputs to both Audio A and Audio B on that tab, plus, select both Audio 1 and Audio 2 tabs when setting up the encoding job.

:) Thanks for that. I suspected that may be the case but wasn't sure. Also helps to explain why the last time I included a second audio track the file size was off target - I had 1x vbr selected.
Aside from that I thought maybe it was an option to do a "second pass" for the audio. Just like for the video.
