Read on DVDRHelp.com that there is a new version of DVD Shrink out but nothing shown up here yet. They don't say what is new in it and was curious if MrBass or DDLooping had anything about it yet.

Hi all. :)
I would advise you not to use v3.1.6, as I think I found a nasty bug ("bad media" symptoms, freezes/stuttering at layer-break).
I waiting to hear from dvdshrink about it. ;)

re: ddlooping
You, who know the author, could you ask him about this? http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=71008
Thx.

I already did. If he doesn't respond he's too busy. ;)

I was using Shrink 3.1.5 for An Italian Job straigt ripped from DVD drive and shrinked it to the HD. I have never had problem with Shrink and it had always produced excellent quality for me until now. I put the newly burned DVD in the PIONEER 563A and the player just sits there and try to load the movie over and over but can not boot up with the movie. Is this related to the Pioneer DVD-ROM 120 bug? I thought it was the media(Optodisc) but then I switch another media(Ritek) but still doing the exact same thing.

I take the disc that wouldn't play in the standalone player to my computer and was going to let Dvdcrypter rip it to the hard drive. However, an error message came up:
Failed to patch file!
C:\ITALIAN_JOB\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.BUP
Reason: Invalid IFO /BUP.
Shrink 3.1.5 must've done something not right.
Is this file fixable or does the whole movie needs to be reprocess?
