Hello everyone,

I'm reletively new to making backup copys of my DVDs but using DVDDecypter,DVD2AVI and Tmpgenc i have managed to end up with an mpeg format file!
The only problem is that when Tmpgenc interlaces the Video& Acs Audio it ends up out of sync. Can anyone help? This is not the first time i have had this, with DVD2SVCD the same problem occured.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

Some help would be muchly appreciated.

IN GENERAL:

If you have a problem or you want some info just do these steps - they are normally the fastest one to the solution.

1. Read the great Guides @ http://www.doom9.org/guides.htm

2. Peform a search in the forum - in your case the keywords would be:

DVD sync - or - DVD audio delay

3. I guess you forgot about the delay of the audio stream:

One solution - encode your video and audio separatly.
Video using TMPGEnc or any other mpg encoder. Audio using Besweet which supports those delay options.
In the end the two streams can be multiplexed - with e.g. TMPGEnc.

But that should be better explained (+screenshots) in one of the doom9 guide so back to ------> 1. ;)
