Turbo... Same EXACT results.

I encoded a video clip twice, in VirtualDub. All the settings for XviD remained the same, except in the second encode I enabled "Turbo ;)".

Both files ended up with the same EXACT filesize and the same EXACT md5 checksum (CRC).

However, when I read on these boards, people claim that it decreases quality. Is this for certain? Doesn't seem like the case to me.

Seems that it only makes a difference if you're using Qpel and/or B-frames.
