I am trying to do Phoenix Nights Series 1 DVD, most of the main episodes are progressive apart from 2 which have interlaced credits. The extras and outtakes are also interlaced.
I can set up DoCCE4U to encode the extras and outtakes as they are interlaced, but what about the episodes with only the credits interlaced what would be the best settings for them ???
Thanks In Advance

You can only define if the whole stream is progressiv oder interlaced.
So you can encode the whole stream as interlaced. So the credit are OK, but the encoder can`t encode the movie at it`s best. It is not so worse, many DVDs are encoded as interlaced, because the producers are too lazy.
Alternative you can deinterlace the credits and encode progressiv.

The credits are using a different vobid as the rest I would guess?
If so you could solve it by demuxing by vobid and the setting up the encoding correctlt for every vobid.
Or just encode the whole as interlaced, won't make any difference i think.

I just did Pheonix Nights 1 & 2 PAL region 2 and the whole thing on both discs including episodes and extras was all interlaced. Had 'Progressive' unchecked and 'TFF' checked in DoItFast4U and turned out great. Are you sure that the episodes are interlaced? Or is it not the UK version you have?
