Hi,

Just bring that *.m2v file thing back to fray.

It seems i have found an answer.

If i get smartripper to do a full rip and split at each vob, and then append each vob in avisynth, the output has the correct number of frames and everything.

However, I think if i could open the *.ifo via directshow then pass the info onto the splitter and decoder I could get the end result without avisynth appending the vobs.

So........

Where can I find a ifo directshow reader filter please?

I've done a google and found nothing thus far :(

How about using DVD Decrypter's IFO mode instead of smartripper and disabling file splitting? (Also, smartripper hasn't been updated in ages, so why not use DVD Decrypter anyway?)
