I just tried out gamr's latest build, and for the first time I was able to encode a mod4 resolution clip without the luma/chroma misalignment...
However, this clip plays back correctly only using the xvid decoder (actually the one from RC2, since the one from gamr's build can't be registered for some reason). Using the latest ffdshow, a black bar appears on the right edge. Using divx decoder, some incorrectly decoded macroblocks appear occasionally, usually at dark/bright edges.
I understand this might be caused by limitations of these other decoders, but I thought I 'd let you know...
