I encoded an ac3 file using GK,
took ~3 minutes
I then encoded the same file using BeSweet GUI,
took ~8 minutes
to convert to 192kbps mp3 file using lame.
Could someone take a look at these settings and tell me where the difference is coming from?
Original file:
2_0ch 192kbps ac3 file
GK settings:
azid! : -c normal
lame : -h --cbr -b 128
from GK logfile:
C:\PROGRA~1\AutoGK\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input "<inputfilename>" -output "<outputfilename>" -logfile "<logfilename>" ) -ota( -hybridgain ) -azid( -c normal ) -lame( -h --cbr -b 192 ) -profile( Gordian Knot 0.28 )
this took ~3min.
BeSweet GUI settings:
"BeSweet.exe" -core[ -input "<inputfilename>" -output "<outputfilename>" -logfilea "<logfilename>"] -azid[ -c normal -L -3db ] -ota[hybridgain] -lame[ -p --alt-preset cbr 192] -profile[ ~~~~~ Default Profile ~~~~~ ]
and this takes ~8 min.
I am using BeSweet v1.5b25 in both encodings
could someone explain this?
Thanks
