OK.I recompiled a seamless disc,run ifoedit, edit the ifo the put the dc tracks in the correct place,saved ifos,got vts sectors.Everything went well till when i played back and the audio was out of sync.So I demux the vobs by id, used dvd2avidg to get the audio,used the delay corrector renamed the new audio tracks to the same as the ones dif4u output, i then put the new audio where the output files are.Then i've recompiled,ifoupdate, ifoedit to edit the audio, but this time when i go to save i get " the file postion does not match the offset for table : ID_VTS_VOBU_ADMAP " .Then some endsector error.The audio was in sync though.So ive fixed one problem but got another. I done every think the same, just the corrected audio is new but named the same.
Any ideas lad's ?

the problem is in the TMAPTI table
see this thread:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=65875&highlight=MLS
as for fixing it.....
no idea.
i tried 2cools suggestions but they didnt work.
also what MLS suggested wasnt working as when i checked the VTS_02.ifo created by scenarist there was no TMAPTI table.
i tried creating new ifos for the scenarist compiled folder but it created 30 chapters/one pgc instead of 28 chapters/2 pgcs.
as of yet i have found no solution to this, and i have spent a loooooooong time trying every suggestion i could find in the forum, and quite a few i invented myself.
dont correct the audio tracks, and it works fine
correct the audio and you get errors.
i am going to try adding audio tracks to the scenarist project this weekend, so that the DC commentaries are in their correct place, so no changing of the ifos is required.
i will let you know if that solves the issue...

@master -
*CAREFULLY try to remake your video_ts dir(the one dif4u made). in other words all the replace ALL the files (well really just the ifos and bups including the video_ts.ifo etc) then redo your ifoupdate step. make sure timetable is checked
ive had problems when i tried to do multiple updates on the same ifos
this will take 3 mins.. might be worth a shot

hmmm... i believe the errors are a result of having the TMAPTI checked, as there is NO timetable in the re-authored ifo that scenarist generates.
if you try checking 'copy TMAPTI...' ifoupdate issues a warning saying there is no table to copy...

VTS_TMAPTI Table transfer is not ticked.I didnt get the error the first time round.Just after ive corrected the audio.

as i pointed out, there is NO TMAPTI table to transfer, so it doesnt matter whether it was ticked or not .......

For the time being, the rule of thumb is you have to 'Get VTS Sectors' with IFOUpdate (Correct VTS Sectors button) after you update the IFO with IFOUpdate, and you must do any IFO editing in IFOEdit before you run IFOUpdate.

OK, i opened the ifo in ifoedit and doen that 'correct original ifo ' thing.Now it save fine.
One thing though, as this is seamless branching there was a layer break at every point where it chnaged void, but after ive done 'correct original ifo ' the lyer breaks have been removed.This wont affect play back when it changes id right?

@RB
thanks for the tip!
although in this case i simply added soem dummy audio files to get the directors commentary on the right stream so no editing of the ifo was required.

@trahald
no, just in this case.
no idea why though ....
checked the original ifo in ifoedit to confirm this.
