libavcodec doc ?

anyone have or well .. could tell us which options is for what on libavcodec ?

AFAIK currently the most complete doc for it is the one on mencoder's manpage .. and that seems not enough for a curious guy like me.

it's quite a task to know which option applies to which codec considering the amount of codec supported by libavcodec.

I don't really know if their documentation is that more extended/advanced than mencoder's but you'll probably find a few more options here and there...

btw these are just from a quick search, give 'freshmeat.net' or 'google' a try for more results - there might also be options explanations in the New A/V formats - Codecs forum (afaik ffvfw is the win version of libavcodec, there should be threads explaining it's options there :) )
