Well not a mess yet. I have just purchased these Total Training DVD's for Adobe Audition and Adobe EncoreDVD. Naturally I want to back them up. Here's what IFOEDIT tells me...

Title 10 is the FBI warning, TT Intro, and Intro to the DVD
Title 11 is an "About Total Training" movie that's about 40 sec long.
Title 14 is "Final Comments"

Also,

Title 14 is the intro to Title 1 (first menu button)
Title 6 is the intro to Title 2 (second menu button)
Title 7 is the intro to Title 3 (third menu button)
Title 8 is the intro to Title 4 (fourth menu button)
Title 9 is the intro to Title 5 (fifth menu button)

Basically, I want to trash Title 11, keep Titles 14, 10, 6, 7, 8, 9 untouched, and then re-encode Titles 1-5. Question is, what PGC's are these titles in? I am not super proficient in IFOEDIT, but is there a way to find this out? Also, after I find this out, should I just uncheck the PGC's (in DIF4U) I don't want to reencode? I am a little confused and would appreciate any help you guys can give me.

regards,
redfive

when you open the VIDEO_TS.IFO in ifoedit it will give you a list of all the titles and the vts' they correspond to.
if you do not wish to re-encode a vts, then you deselect it in DIF4U and it will be copied directly to your VIDEO_TS folder. if you deselect a pgc within a selected vts then it will not be processed at all.

...well i probably should expand on this a little to avoid any confusion...
if you want to 'trash' a title, it is a rquirement that you replace it with something to retain the structure of the dvd (unless you get adept at using ifoedit and you know how to bypass titles etc).
as i said, if you deselect a pgc within a vts it will be removed. if it is followed by another pgc, then ReAuthorist will create a dummy in its place. if it is not, then you will have to create your own 'dummy' to retain the structure.
