the EXE file have a button to open MOV file, so not sure about..
1) will it change to another LAYER itself when watching the MOV?

Don't think that is going to work.
As far as I know one of the files has to contain the layerbreak (like a chapter in authoring software). All the files after that file are second layer. Because you have 1 file over 4.x/5GB the layerbreak is always in that file. Thats why I think VOB's are also 1GB.
Solution: split file02.mov into smaller pieces (2GB's perhaps) and try to create a playlist, or wait for duallayer +/-R(W) (Or are they also going to work with layerbreaks, anyone?)

@benza:
I got to disagree with you. 1GB Vob file size is a file system (CDFS) limitation, which was designed for CDs at the time when they didn't expect DVD to come around. One Vob file can contain layer break in the middle, at that point there must a new vob cell flagged for non-seamless playback.
@DTD
As far as I know, your dvd would play fine if it's formatted with opposite track path (OTP), i.e. first layer is filled up completely and the second layer starts on the outer edge of the disc going towards the center. The other choice is parallel track path (PTP) when both layers start from the center going outwards; this will cause interruption in the middle of playback. I didn't try this myself for data DVDs, so maybe someone will correct me.

Doesn't DVD use UDF as a File System? Check dvddemystified (http://dvddemystified.com/dvdfaq.html)

But how do you place a layerbreak in the middle of a .MOV file? No authoring software I know can place layerbreaks in anything else but a MPEG(1/2) file.
I did a test with Maestro. I used a 4.569.958KB file together with 3 small files (2x2KB + 138KB). When I tried to define the second layer I got an error message : "The size of Layer 0 is too big to fit on a Dual Layer Disc. Please choose a smaller Layer 1 start offset.". No matter what file/layer/PTP/OTP I chose, I always got an error. I've also tried with smaller files, and that worked!
So to solve his problem he has to do split the movie into smaller pieces.

@benza
You right, DVD-Video use UDF as file system. What I meant is that 1GB limitation is probably a CD legacy that somehow got stuck in the DVD-Video specifications even though ISO9660 (CDFS) has file size limit of 2GB. In any case, this only makes difference to stand-alone players. However, the guy wants to create DVD-ROM rather than DVD-Video, so there is no need to worry about all that.
@DTD:
One thing should work for certain. If you split your .MOV into two files, one for each layer, and format the disc with UDF and PTP, the movie will play without a problem although with a pause at the layer change. Of course, your .EXE should be configured to play the two files sequentially.
