I just wanted to say thanks for the time and work that you folks have put into these programs.... I just did my first rendered (5pass cce) movie... Although it was a simple movie, I was amazed at the quality of the video that these programs did for me...

For those of you wondering, I followed the guide here on doom9 that show's how to use these programs...

Great job... good work...

Now, I just gotta figure out how to disable certain options in the menu... (On to more searching and reading!)

Thanks again...

It's such a shame. You start talkin about how great these programs are and I think well that's a nice post. Then the next moment you start talking about disabling menu options, which makes me think you are butchering the dvd, leaving things out. That's not really what those programs are meant for.

So I'm highly in doubt if I'm gonna tell you that you can disable menuoptions with menuedit. When I decide on that I'll let you know.

Oops :P

Well, if it makes any differnce... the only thing i cut out was the 2.1 sound track and left the 5.1 sound track....

oh only audio. Depends on what you exactly want to accomplish here. I usually only disable the left out streams in ifoedit (PC_CITY, PGC, set stream value to 0). I do not bother making the menulinks unselectable

the particular movie i was working with only had 2 audio tracks... both english.. .one was 2.1 the other was 5.1 so i killed the 2.1...

I wasnt sure if leaving the availability of being able to select the differnt audio stream was "acceptable" or not... I have already done the ifoedit set stream of 0 to the one that was deleted....

I have already authored the dvd and gave a copy to my brother, as he is the one with the big 55" widescreen... so he's gonna view it and tell me if anything is bad....
