Delay in video/audio of progressive source

OK this is my problem I have a dvd who is progressive, so I applied Force Film on it. The source looks good, so that aint a problem, but somehow I got a delay in the audio/video.

Its not a real delay, because the audio is perfectly in sync with the video at the start, but the delay becomes bigger after a while. At the end, the delay is around 1sec.

I also didnt do force film and applies ivtc with decomb (using avs), but the video is still 1sec bigger then the audio (delay is still there). I think its a dvd2avi bug, because in my other non progressive encodes I got no problem!

Anyone know whats wrong and how to fix it?

I think I'll stay at the avisynth side.. there are smart people there :)

but I fixed it on my own.. dvd2avi has a bug! The bug is that somehow it gives more frames in the d2v file then the source actually has (probably only with progressive sources!). I fix it by ripping the movie in seperate chapters with dvddecrypter and made seperate d2v files. Then I use avisynth to past them to eachother and voila... This video stream has now less frames compaired with the one big d2v file from the one big vob and the new video stream lenght is as big as the audio stream (which means no delay!)
By the way I demuxed the AC3 audio with dvddecrypter demux option, so I know for sure the audio is good!

Gosh, you waited a full 8h before asking why noone helps you... considering most people visits the forum once a day or less you're lucky someone even viewed your question in that time.

And you did not say what version of DVD2AVI you are using: DVD2AVIdg is not compatible with DVD decrypter audio for instance. A general recommandation is always to demux the audio with the DVD2AVI you use for creating the .d2v, just to make sure that incompatibilities with different versions doesn't occurr.

Tried it with DVD2AVIdg, DVD2AVI 1.76 and DVD2AVI l.773... all the same problem... I'm almost sure it has something to do with progressive sources. I going to try it with a other progressive dvd I got which I have just encoded.. I'll look what the results are!
