Movie is flipped upside down.

I've watched a movie of mine several times and now it's upside down. Could it have something to do with ffdshow?

Yes. open ffdshow and check the appropriate box to filp the video.

call me lame, but how and where is ffdshow located and opened/configured? I have xvid files that are playing back upside down in bsplayer however divx files play fine?:( Actually I am fairly certain I dont have ffdshow installed, so how do I get my xvids to "flip"? (decoder somewhere?)

Latest XviD decoder has this option built in. Also, RadLight 4 has this feature implemented (CTRL+F11) ;)

Well, I'm using bsplayer and I cant see anything to change for xvid or divx

For BSPlayer:
Right-click -> Properties -> Filters -> XviD decoder or ffdshow...
XviD ... it's obvious / ffdshow ... see "Miscellaneous" and check "flip video"

"Properties" are "Options" (BSPlayer 1.00)
"flip video" option is a new thing in XviD decoder settings...
my ver is XviD 1.00 RC1
"Miscellaneous" is in ffdshow prop dialog -
before last one which is "About"

Nope I get rightclick then options filters but that does nothing.#
Or preferences video types ffdshow but no option to flip video.
right click properties doesnt work.

Ah well just downloaded the latest build and it seems to have cured the problems.. who knows what it was..:o

Well Had a problem of a film breaking every player .. so I caved in and got ffdshow. it seems to have got past the breaking point. Hope all is good now FC.
