Hi,
I have been doing some tests and I have found that unless I create an intermediate file (uncompressed) then the resultant from nero via either besweet or foobar isnt at the normalised level.
In besweet, i used azid normal and maximise
In foobar, i did replay gain test and ticked the diskwriter option.
I have confirmed the above by creating the intermediate file (wav) in both and then encoded with nero.
The waves from both are normalised as is the mp4 that arises from the wav.
If i transcode directly in either app the mp4 is at the original level.
The intermediate method using wav output will be of no use when dealing with movie length 5.1 ac3 conversions.
