I have a slight problem doing DVD copy of FIght Club, using the big three method. The subtitles appear about half second earlier than they should be. Is there any way to remedy this? Any tool to synchronise them or to add half second to each subtitle appear time?
I still have the files ripped by DIF4U on the disk, and also the MPEG2 encoded files. I hope there will be a solution without the need to recompress them.
Well any ideas?

Dunno if there's an official tool but I wrote an excel file for personal use that will add X ms to all time values in an idx file (although you should choose a value that correspond to a a frame e.g. for PAL any number divisible by 40).

When you run vsconv.exe on the sub/idx (which is what DOITFAST4U does), the ssts will have start and end timestamps which are X ms later.

If you post your email address I will send it to you. You just have to copy most of the idx to excel, enter the delay and then copy the updated values back to the idx.

Alternatively you can use subrip to rip from the idx/sub (not from original vobs) and use its time offset feature.
