I'd first like to say that I am thoroughly impressed with the ease of use and quality of result produced by AutoGK. I know a number of people have already requested facility for batch processing (multiple jobs) and that this is high on the list of development priorities. I wonder if will also be possible to incorporate the option for setting the video bitrate, as one can in GK. I am not so concerned with fitting a movie on a CD and prefer to encode at a consistent bitrate. Thanks alot.

Hi-

It's been done already. Check the third pic down from here. (http://len0xmirror1.serveftp.net/~len0x/tutorial/AutoGK.html#4) So get an up-to-date version and start using that very useful feature.

Check the second picture down in the previous link. See where it says (under that drop down box), "Target Quality (in percentage)"? That's what you want. Just tick that and choose the percentage (the default 75% is good). Quality based encoding has another advantage (if you don't care about the file size) in that it requires only 1-pass, and so is much faster than 2-pass encoding. 2-pass and setting the bitrate or the file size is useful mostly for filling a given number of CDs. If you don't care about that, then Quality based encoding is the way to go.
