View Full Version : Is there a project size limit when authoring in DVDMaestro?

I've created a project in Maestro which consists of a 10 sec intro, 4 "rejigged" movies, and a 30 sec special feature. The total size is 15.565GB (to be 'shrunk' later). But when compiling, DVDMaestro always crashes just before compiling the final movie. I have changed the order of the movies to see if one was them was 'bad', but again it always crashes at the same point, so I know the movies are OK. I was wondering if DVDMaestro had any size limitation for compiling? And is there any feature in Maestro that can check if all menu links, first play etc, are correctly assigned before compilation?

Thanks,

well, a DVD-9 is the largest single project dvd authoring programs would have to worry about, and thats only 8.5BB (with dual sided discs, its a different authoring project for each side).

btw, dont you think your going to need to drink a case of beers before watching your 'rejigged' and 'dvdshrunk' mess to even think that it looks watchable?
