I did use the search but didn't find an answer to the following questions:

1. which numbers are allowed for bframe sensivity?

2. will negative numbers lower the usage of bframes or will they just be treated as 0 ?

As explained in tbe tooltip, negative values are allowed and will do what you say.

Currently the minimum is -35 (I think), anything below will not make any difference. There is no maximum, but value is pretty sensiteve - 5 will give you a reasonable boost. I'd say that practical maximum is about 25.

uhm... I think I have a screwed up RC1 installation, since I get no tooltips on the whole Zone Options dialog :(
(btw they work fine in other dialogs... only trellis/red. resolution are missing the tooltip)

same here, the other tooltips work fine ;)

@syskin:
Btw. is there some understandable scaling like for bframe threshold, which you mentioned here:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=56190 ?

Confirmed that tooltips are missing. Thanks for the info, I'll find out why.

Hmm,.. personally I found it to be a quite understandable approximation. :D

So is there some sort of approximation for the scaling?

I'm sorry sysKin, I reported incomplete informations. Let alone the Zone Opt. dialog, the other missing tooltips are trellis, red. resolution, turbo and closed gov. At least on my system :)

hope this helps
