I just got a new Dell Dimension 4600, 128MB Radeon Pro, 2.66GhzP4 w/HT, 512MB Dual Channel DDR... Anyway, its all great, but when i get the GKnot Codec Pack and install it ( everything but DivX 5.1.1 Pro, I hate adware) and install DivX 5.1.1 standard seperately, i go to VDub, compression, and theres nothing there!! I reinstall them, still nothing. This sucks. I what to start encoding movies again, they worked fine on my ihter pc. Is there like a disabled option or something? :(

I suspect your DivX standard installer is corrupt. btw, what happens when installing Adware version, is it available in Vdub? :)
Edit: are you saying you cannot see any of codecs installed in Vdub or only divx?. If former is the condition download another copy of Vdub?

Searching for "codec list empty" shows that thread titled "Dissappearing CODECs in XP: FIX!!" by DeXT as first hit...
Welcome aboard, and next time use the search function.

That's what Guides (http://www.doom9.org/divx-encoding.htm) are for.
