OK, im trying to compile my seamless dvd back together.I know how to import the audio and video no probs.But i do how every have two problems.Ive imported the first id, and set the scene times using what chapterxtractor said, like in the seamless guide.But for the second id i cant get the length times, only what time it is on the disc.So how do i get the correct length for the tracks..??

Secondly the seamless guide does'nt say how to import all the sub tracks , how do i go about doing that?

But for the second id i cant get the length times, only what time it is on the disc.So how do i get the correct length for the tracks..?? ummm...not sure why you would need this exactly. if you have the latest version of DIF4U which uses Donald Grafts DVD2AVI, you wont be losing any frames....or have i misunderstood what you were asking?
Secondly the seamless guide does'nt say how to import all the sub tracks , how do i go about doing that?
in the track editor select your track click on the button up the top (or use the menu) to 'add subtitle stream' and add as many as you need. then go to the button top right (cant remember whats it called) that imports the subtitles, and for each subtitle stream you want to import, select it in the pop-up menu, and navigate to your .sst file for that substream (remember though that your substream i.d. will differ from your scenarist substream number by a factor of 1 - that is *****.00.sst will correspond to scenarist substream 1)

btw there are guides that explain this (just not the 'seamless branching' one)

OK, first thing i did use dvd2avidg.What i mean is how do i get the correct scene times ??

With the subtitles.....after ripping by vob id with dif4u, i have VTS_02_VSUB_P1A1-00 -> VTS_02_VSUB_P1A1-24.Which has all the subtitles for full pgc, but the i have...

VTS_02_VSUB_V001-00 -> VTS_02_VSUB_V001-24
.
.
.
.
.
VTS_02_VSUB_V007-00 -> VTS_02_VSUB_V007-24

I take it i use the ones with V00? as its by vobid, but whats the need for all the others ??
Also in some of the folders it has two sst files, ones normall ones forced.Now i guess they go into the same track but how do i put em into one ??

Last question, after importing two of the sst files in the data editor i have one folder, with two folders inside that, but with the script that ra gives the separate folders for each subtrack.Am i doing something wrong??

VTS_02_VSUB_V001-00 -> VTS_02_VSUB_V001-24
.

.
VTS_02_VSUB_V007-00 -> VTS_02_VSUB_V007-24
***_V001-00 etc is for vobid 1
***_V007-00 etc is for vobid 7 use these ones.
Also in some of the folders it has two sst files, ones normall ones forced.Now i guess they go into the same track but how do i put em into one ?? no offence but run a search on 'forced subs' and you will find MANY threads on how to do this!
...but essentially load the non-forced subs into the applicable substream then load the forced subs into a spare substream and use the forced ones as a guide of which subs to flag as forced. once your done delete the 'forced subs' substream.
Last question, after importing two of the sst files in the data editor i have one folder, with two folders inside that, but with the script that ra gives the separate folders for each subtrack.Am i doing something wrong?? ummm...why exactly are you doing this? import the subs via the track editor as i mentioned earlier, not the data editor.
