So all of my data was backed up save my program files folder with my AVI synth scripts.
What is the best AVIsynth script for getting 1080i ->960x540p the fastest. I remember TrBarry's filter was amazing.
I am trying to convert my enterprise upconverts

is that the "normal" size that most people resize their 1080i content to?
960x540p
I've been going down to 768x432
(and 640x480 for 4:3)
I that matches the best comparing total number of pixels.
I know its up to me to decide what resolution to use, but I'm just wondering what most people use.
When I compress, i usually try to end up with 17.5mb/s so I can fit a normal 40min show in a 700mb cd.

that is what i go to unless I do a
350 meg encode
then depending upon the source (high or low motion) I do either
768 x 432 or 624 x 352 and for 4:3 stuff i go 640 x 480 or 512 x 384
