Hi,
Quick question...Say I have VTS1 and it has two PGC's, each one having one version of the movie.

Do I just demux everything? Because wouldn't that lower the bitrate on the overall project? Or should I just demux the PGC I want and then ScendAid does the rest? I am a little lost. Thanks ahead of time!

it depends on the structure of the two pgcs.

*example 1:
pgc 1 - original/standard version of movie
pgc 2 - 'special feature' version of the movie that contains different subs/audio.

*example 2:
pgc 1 - original/standard version of movie
pgc 2 - extended/alternate ending version of the movie

so for example 1 you could simply demux by pgc and select one of the pgcs only - they will both conatin the same information - when you select to play the 'special feature version' - commands are set to default to the audio/subs that are required.

in example 2 you would have to demux by vobid because although the two pgcs will contain re-used vobids, they will also have vobids particular to each pgc.

you can confirm this by looking at the ifo structure in ifoedit and comparing vobids between pgcs.
there is a guide by doom9 on 'when to demux by vob-id or not'. there is also a lot of information on this topic on trilights site.

btw DoItFast4U will 'choose' which process for you automatically, if you are using one of the latest builds

*note: these are only *broad* examples. the only way to confirm which method to use is to analyse the ifo structure in ifoedit
