DVD-Lab multiple audio streams for movie not transitions

I'm making a movie with both english and japanese audio streams with dvd-lab. The problem is, I have lots of custom menu transitions between menus, and before chapters start (see http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=69706, thanks to maa ;)). following the guide for multiple audio streams with dvd-lab (http://www.photosyndikat.de/guides/MultiAudio.htm) i have everything the way i want it except the ifo editing tool with dvd-lab forces you to select the number of audio streams for all PGC's in the post-compile ifo, and because of this, my transition movies only have audio when you play the movie, switch the audio stream, then go back to the menus. I assume its because the edited ifo tells the dvd player that all movies have two audio streams, and since they don't, the one stream is silent. I tried to create all my transition movies with two (identical) audio streams following the same multiple stream guide, but the post-compile dvd freezes at the menus in both windvd, powerdvd, and my actual set-top dvd player (BlazeDVD worked better, but the icons of the main menu were glitchy and the main movie was choppy). My question is, how do you use ifo edit to change the post-compile ifo to allow the multiple audio streams for just the main movie and not the menu and transition movies?? I'm a newb with ifo's, so i don't even know where to start. Thanks.

Interesting point - try this:
1. Open your VTS_01_0.IFO and double click each short pgc in the main window.This brings up a crude player in which you can see the content.
2. Note your transition PGC numbers.
3. Open / VTS_PGCITI / VTS_PGC_# and look at these lines

PGC (program chain):

Audio stream 1 uses stream nr.: 0

4. See the blue numbers (there may only be one in your IFO) ?
Change the second third and fourth (depending on how many languages you have) to the same number.
It will look something like this:

Audio stream 1 uses stream nr.: 0

yet again you have saved the day for me. thanks so much!! it worked to perfection! now there really is nothing i can't do with dvd-lab :) well...almost, but i'll ask about those comparatively tiny problems at a later date, when my friend finishes translating and making subtitles for the non english audio stream and i am ready to finally author my dvd. Thanks again for all your help!!!
