Zoom Player: No AC3 playback!

Hi all,

when I view movies with the BSPlayer, my receiver switches to DolbyDigital(AC3), however when I view that same movie with the ZoomPlayer it doesen't. Is there a setting in zoom player for enabling ac3 playback, or would this rather have something to do with the ac3 filter im using? (and once again, BSPlayer works properly!)

(If one of you suspects the filter, please recommend one that I could use instead of my current one)

I never used BSPlayer that much, therefor I cannot say if it has inbuild ac3-support...
I think you should try AC3Filter (http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/), I think it is the best method for SPDIF-passthrough with every player, the only other one I know of is to use WinDVD-filters...
And yes, this has rather to do with the filter which Zoomplayer is using...
