Got a question:
When I first got my computer, it had a 16x DVD-ROM drive in it. Shortly thereafter, I began to decode some DVD's to make .avi backups so I wouldn't have to use the disc. Anywho, I began using CladDVDXP for the decoding and was getting great speeds. I then moved to DVDDecryptor when I found this site. Also, great ripping speeds. Approximately 15x.
Then my HDD crashed and I reinstalled and eventually upgraded to Windows XP Professional. I was still getting the great speeds.
Recently, I moved all of my hardware out of the current case it was in and onto a new motherboard and into a new case. I also purchased a GeForce FX5950 Ultra.
Now for the problem: I no longer get good speeds. Now, the max I can decode at is 2.0x and an average of 1.5x. DVD's that used to take 15 min to decode now take an hour and a half. Do you have any suggestions of what the problem might be and how I can fix it?
Thanks in advance,
