Fix mpeg1 file joined using copy /b

Is there any utility capable of reading a MPG joined using copy /b and creating a fixed new mpg stream?

I've some old mpgs that can't be played. I can fully read them into VDub, but my only option in vdub is to reencode them to AVI.

Can you open them in TMPGEnc with File->MPEG Tools (input/output -> run)? If that works you can also merge several mpg clips in the merge&cut tab of mpegtools.

It opens, but TMPGEnc stops processing at the first invalid join point.
