Hello,
I have a AC3 soundtrack ripped from a concert DVD (I own). I would like to burn it to a regular audio CD so I can play it in my car. I would also like to be able to jump from song to song (track to track). Any suggestions on the best way to go about this? I have Nero, Sound Forge 7 and a host of other utilities but I am not sure which would be the most efficient/effective tool to us.
Thanks

1. Decode the AC3 to a 2-channel 44.1 khz wav file using BeSweet.
2. Open up the IFO from the DVD with Chapter-Xtractor ( available from the doom9 download page). Chapter-Xtractor can generate a BeSplit commandline to split your Wav into chapters.
3. Use the generated commandline with BeSplit to split the large wav into one wav per chapter.
4. Create an Audio CD using these individual wavs with whatever burning program you want (Nero, BurnatOnce, etc.)

I appreciate your response. Seemed easy and I was almost there. however for me to use BeSplit I would have to install Winamp. I don't want to install Winamp because I have all my defaults set just the way I want them (what program to be opened by what application) and as I remember, Winamp like to take over. Any suggestions without installing Winamp?

This didn't work with MPA file. Chapter-Xtractor has some path problem.
