Hi,
I must be missing something very basic ... I have used the IFO mode on 3 DVDs to rip just the main title of the DVD. As a result I get the following files in the VIDEO_TS folder:
VTS_01_0.ifo
VTS_01_1.vob
VTS_01_2.vob ...

When I use WinDVD to play the movie by opening the IFO file, WinDVD is just hanging. I also tried opening the .VOB file and it does not work.

I have been using the ISO mode quite a bit in the past without any trouble. What am I doing wrong in the IFO mode? And how do I recover the rip?

Thanks in advance, Burkheart

You dont use IFO mode for playback, its for encoding.
The IFO file it copies off the dvd wont be correct because the vobs are no longer the original vobs.

If you want to play your DVD files on your harddrive, you must rip all files in File Mode. ;)
