I have a question in filters orderly

Here is a main question

Are there any different effect by filters orderly? (please understand my intention)


For example, I want to use Msharpen, deinterlaced and resize filters

I setup the filters
1.Msharpen -> resize -> deinterlace
2.deinterlace -> Msharpen -> resize
something like that.

Are there any different effects?
If there are, how much?
If there are, what should be placed first or last?

There definitely is a difference. If you resize an interlaced image you'll usually be left with an ugly mess that can't be properly deinterlaced, so you'll want to do your deinterlacing first. The order in which you place other filters after that also can make a differance, but it can sometimes be difficult to know exactly what you'll get without just trying it out. Run a few encodes of short clips to see what you get, that's generally the best way to learn this stuff. :'>
