hi,

i´m a little bit confused with my menu. it contains some unwanted extra logos which i want to blank (the menu is located in video_ts). my menu contains 5 vod id entries each with 2 cells. i only need vob id 5. my qeuestion is how to remove /blabk the other vob ids...ok i know i can strip them with ifoedit by i dont know if the can cause any problem if some other part of the movie refers to it. therefore i tnik it is better to blank them. i know i can do this with menuedit (edit or replace). my question is: can i just remove the unwanted cells or can this cause errors when some part tries to refer to it. when i replace one cell with an empty cell do i have to do this for every cell in a vod id or only for the first one (replace first one and remove second one)...

thx for any help ...i thought i got it but now i´m much more confused than before...

habe an a nice weekend..

If you can successfully bypass them, then it should be safe to delete/remove your VOBIds, in question, in MenuExtras.

blanking is a good way of getting rid of intro warnings etc, and cuts the size of the dvd down, so that its closer to fitting on a DVDr.
